IQs in 2016 – Entering Your IQ Sanctioning Numbers!

As SCG President Pete Hoefling wrote last year, starting in 2016,® Invitational Qualifiers and Super IQs will be considered WPN Premium Qualifiers, making competitors eligible for 2x Planeswalker Points! This is a great draw for your competitive players looking to earn a Grand Prix bye.

Because IQs are now WPN Premium Qualifiers, we require organizers to enter their sanctioning numbers into Organizer Tools immediately after paying for their events. Without the sanctioning number, your event will not receive the Planeswalker Points multiplier!

To enter your event sanctioning number, just log in to Organizer Tools, click on the Event ID, put the sanctioning number you see in Wizards Event Reporter (WER) into the field, and click “Save Sanctioning Info.” Having trouble? Read our step-by-step guide!

SCG requires the sanctioning number for all new IQs. Organizers who already have an IQ scheduled and paid for should enter their event’s sanctioning number as soon as possible.

Organizers entering an IQ’s sanctioning number should also confirm that the address for their IQ’s location is correct. Events held at a different location will not receive the Planeswalker Points multiplier, so take the time to double-check your IQ’s address and contact [email protected] if you need to change it!
